Limitations

Eligible participants must not own a home at the time of closing on the SHIP assisted home. To be considered for inclusion in this program, the applicant must not have a contract to purchase a home prior to receive an award letter for Nassau County. Applicants must not have received assistance from the County’s SHIP program within the past 10 years prior to applying for assistance.
